Frequently Asked Questions
Conference Format & Experience
Will attendees get access to the presentation videos?
All attendees will receive access to recordings of most QCon AI session recordings. Starting 4 weeks after the conference, these will be available on-demand for a duration of 12 months. To help you while you make your schedule selection, please note that a few sessions have a "no video icon," which indicates that these presentations aren't being recorded and won’t be available to watch on-demand.
Will attendees get access to the presentation slides?
Most presentation slides will be available on the schedule page after the conference. Some sessions may feature a "no slides" icon in the schedule which designates that slides won’t be available.
What is the code of conduct?
We designed QCon AI as a place where everyone feels safe to express themselves, learn, and succeed in adopting new technology and practices. We enforce this through the Code of Conduct to provide a safe and inclusive learning space for our thousands of inspiring attendees.
By joining QCon AI, you agree to our Code of Conduct. All participants, speakers, sponsors, and staff are required to abide by our code of conduct.
What is the Digital Attendee Badge, and how can I claim it?
The QCon AI Attendee Badge is a special digital badge that you can claim after attending the event to share your experience. Here’s how you can get it:
- Log into your My Account page: Visit your My Account page on the QCon website.
- Find the Badge Section: On the last day of the event, a special section will become available for you to claim your badge.
- Claim Your Badge: Follow the instructions to either log into your existing InfoQ account or create a new one.
- Share Your Badge: After claiming it, you can share your badge on social media or your professional profiles.
The badge is a great way to commemorate your participation and show your engagement in the global tech community. Share it with the hashtag #QConAI to join the conversation.
How are talks selected?
By a program committee of working senior engineers. Every session has to clear two questions: has the speaker run this in production, and will they share what didn't work as honestly as what did. The committee filters product pitches out before any session is accepted, and sponsored talks are clearly separated from the editorial program. That's what "no hidden product pitches" means in practice.
At the conference
How do I collect my conference badge?
Badge pick-up will start at 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday and at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
We recommend arriving well in advance of the morning keynote. While we do our best to minimize the lines, there may still be some wait times.
A photo ID is required in order to pick up your badge. Badge pick-up is by FIRST name as on your ID. Attendees may only pick up their own badges. After picking up your badge, you can enjoy a light continental breakfast before the keynote.

What are the early bird discounts for QCon AI?
We offer discounted prices for purchasing earlier. We call this offer our “early bird” pricing. The earlier the ticket is purchased prior to the start of the conference, the larger the discount offered. You can review our list of early bird deadlines and pricing changes in our pricing table (subject to change without notice). For early bird pricing offers, we show the savings (as a percentage) if the ticket is purchased today versus the full price charged at the conference.
Do you offer group or team discounts?
Yes. Register 3 or more colleagues from the same company and save per ticket: $50 off for 3 to 6 attendees, $75 for 7 to 10, $100 for 11 to 15, and $125 for 16 or more. QCon alumni get $100 off. Discounts don't stack and are applied at the time of order. The group registration deadline is November 27, 2026.
Email info@newyork.qcon.ai with your group size for a code.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Paypal and major credit cards. A payment charged to your credit card or Paypal account is processed directly by us in the funds stated on the website. Please note that QCon AI is a trademarked and wholly-owned brand of C4Media Inc., which is located in Canada. Customers outside Canada or cards denominated in other currencies may incur foreign transaction or exchange fees from their issuing bank. C4Media does not control nor collect these fees.
Can I pay for my QCon AI New York ticket by invoice?
You are able to pay by invoice online by checking the "Do You Want to Pay Later by Invoice?" checkbox during registration. Payment by invoice online will be available until November 24th, 2026 (subject to change without notice).
The amount of your invoice reflects the published ticket price in effect at the time that your payment of the invoice is due, which is 30 days* from when you submit the order and receive your invoice. You can review our list of early bird discounts (i.e. early payment discounts) and dates of pricing changes on this pricing table. Pricing is based on the date of receipt of payment. If you pay by credit card instead, you will receive the same day's price and you will be emailed a full receipt, marked paid.
After November 24th, 2026, you can email us at payments@newyork.qcon.ai to request payment by invoice. Due to the proximity of the start date of the event, we encourage you to instead make a payment by credit card. All credit card payments will automatically generate a receipt, marked paid, that is emailed to the buyer for your accounting records. If you still require an invoice to pay by wire, please email us and will evaluate your request to confirm that your payment by wire will be received by us no later than December 1st, 2026. Please note that this will be less than 30 days to send payment.
Only participants who have paid for the event in full before the event start date, will be admitted to the conference.
*except where an invoice is issued between October 25th, 2026 and November 24th, 2026 in which case payment is due no later than December 1st, 2026.
Who can I contact for questions relating to payment?
You can contact us for any payment questions at payments@newyork.qcon.ai.

The full program isn't published yet. Why register now?
First sessions are announced in August, a preliminary schedule follows in October, and the complete program is published by early November. Two reasons to register before then: pricing rises on set deadlines, so booking sooner costs less, and every session comes from the same committee filter, so you're not buying blind even before the names are up.
About QCon AI
What is QCon AI New York 2026?
A two-day conference on production AI for senior software engineers, software architects, and engineering leaders. Senior practitioners walk through the AI systems they run in production and what they'd do differently, across agent runtime design, context engineering, evals, tool access, security, and inference cost. December 15–16, 2026, at The Westin Jersey City Newport, one PATH stop from Lower Manhattan.
Who is it for?
Senior software engineers, architects, Staff+ engineers, ML and MLOps engineers, platform engineers, security engineers, and engineering leaders making decisions on production AI. If you're moving AI work from prototype into production and own how it runs, it's built for you.
Why is the QCon AI conference for practitioners by practitioners?
At QCon AI, we prefer engineers over evangelists, practitioners over trainers/coaches, and team leads over consultants. That is not to say we don't find value in the people on the right; we just prefer those on the left. This simple mantra guides our editorial content. We want to hear from the people who are making decisions and implementations in their fields.
Who is behind QCon AI?
C4Media, the team behind InfoQ and QCon. QCon has helped senior software teams adopt new technologies and practices for more than 20 years, and QCon AI applies the same practitioner-led approach to production AI.
What are the Terms of Participation for QCon AI New York?
The Terms of Participation can be found at https://ai.qconferences.com/terms-conditions/newyork2025.
